Starting in August 2018, we had a few Lines app users with Apple iOS devices (iPhone, iPad) report that they had to login to Lines with their TouringPlans.com username and password every single time they opened the Lines app.
This was a new behavior: previously, they could login once in the app, and the app would stay logged in until someone tapped Logout, even if the phone was restarted in the interim.
We suspect this behavior is the result of security-related adjustments that Apple's made to its iOS operating system.
If you have experienced this problem staying logged in to the Lines app, we have heard the following may help:
- Update your iOS to the most recent version that your device supports. (See Apple's information on doing this.)
- Update your Lines app(s) to the latest available version(s) in Apple's iOS App Store.
Beyond that, if you discover anything else that helps with this problem, please let us know.
Also note that you can access nearly all Lines functionality (aside from some navigation buttons) via our mobile browser "app": just visit https://m.touringplans.com in Safari.
