On occasion Apple iPhone or iPad users report that they get a "Cannot Connect!" error or a network error when starting one of our Lines apps:
This suggests that your device does not have Internet access, which is required for Lines to function. We have seen two potential fixes:
- Make sure that you are connected to a Wi-Fi or cellular data network that provides Internet access.
- Make sure that your phone is not configured to prohibit Internet access (most commonly cellular Internet access) to the Lines app you're trying to use. This can be configured somewhere in the Settings on your phone. It's generally in the "Cellular" settings, but the exact location may vary, depending on your version of iOS. If you cannot find where to configure this, try searching the Internet for something like "iphone app internet block" and unblock Internet access for the Lines app that is showing the error.
