How Do I Submit a Wait Time?

Those using our Lines apps can submit wait times to our database, and we will use these to predict future wait times, both today and into the future. Not only can you submit the "posted" time you see on a wait time sign, but you also use our app to measure your wait and then submit the "actual" time that you spent in line.

If you'd like submit a wait time in our Lines apps (WDW, UOR, or DLR), view the list of attractions for a park, and then tap the green "stopwatch" or "Time Your Wait" icon in the attraction's "box."

The process should be self-explanatory from there.

If you are timing your wait, start the timer at the point when you are first prevented from moving forward in the line (NOT when you go under an attraction's entrance archway, and NOT when a pre-show begins). If you "walk-on" to an attraction, the wait will be zero, even if you spent 5 minutes walking through a very long queue to get to the vehicle. Stop your timer when you board a ride vehicle or sit down for a show. This means that "pre-shows" (even mandatory ones like at Test Track and Flight of Passage) are part of the wait.
